CEDES, a leading provider of innovative sensing and predictive maintenance solutions, announced the acquisition of eMCP, the patented electronic Maintenance Control Program platform previously owned by Lift AI. eMCP is a digital solution that helps elevator owners and service providers manage maintenance requirements, documentation, and Code compliance. Maven Group served as advisors to eMCP, terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition supports CEDES’ vision of transforming elevator maintenance from a schedule-based process into a truly proactive, data-driven approach. By integrating eMCP with the predictive maintenance platform CEDES Elevate, customers will gain access to maintenance programs that are continuously enhanced by real-time insights into elevator health, usage patterns, and performance.
eMCP was developed to provide transparent, accountable, and Code-compliant maintenance programs that help reduce failures, callbacks, and safety incidents. The combination of eMCP’s maintenance management capabilities and CEDES Elevate’s analytics will help building owners and elevator service providers improve reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, optimize maintenance activities, and enhance passenger experience.
